A Short Fashion Film exploring lost innocence and the eerie blur between childhood and reality.
Tideland (2023)
Project Experimental Fashion Film
Work Pre-Production, Casting, Direction, Styling, Sound Design, Post-Production Coloring
A fashion film and editorial inspired by the unsettling, dreamlike world of Tideland, exploring childhood, lost innocence, and the eerie in-between space where fantasy becomes survival.
A blend of disheveled vintage dresses, oversized silhouettes, delicate lace, and distressed fabrics, reflecting both innocence and decay. Ribbons unravel, hems are frayed, shoes too big, clothing that once belonged to a child but now feels misplaced.

Wardrobe and props were intentionally aged, distressed, and mismatched to give the feeling of something left behind, something belonging to a childhood that doesn’t fit anymore.
The lighting mimics late afternoon sun, casting long shadows, golden but unsettling—beautiful, yet unnatural.
The framing emphasizes isolation, making childhood feel more like an empty expanse than a place of safety. Wide shots contrast with tight close-ups, trapping her between vastness and intimacy.
A visual story that lingers between imagination and isolation, where innocence is both a sanctuary and a fragile illusion.
Inspired by the moment childhood slips away, sometimes stolen, sometimes abandoned, always leaving behind something haunting.
The film plays with the duality of growing up too soon, the eerie beauty of nostalgia mixed with the quiet tragedy of forced maturity.
